I don't know about you, but I love me some good old fashion hand crafted goods made with passion and care. I also love a great unboxing experience. I mustn't be the only one because startup Hively have created a service that combines these two pleasurable experiences.  Darwin based mastermind Jaimie Bradford and her team at Hively comb markets across Australia, from Mindil Beach down to some place called Hobart, look for the best goodies and stick it up online for you to buy so you browse with your fingers instead of your feet. Works for me as elbowing my way through Mindil Beach Markets was never much my thing despite how much good stuff there is there. It's great exposure for all those little market stalls and home based businesses, and of course we love to support the little guys here at Darwin Foodies :D

Hively have all softs of arts, crafts, homewares, fashion, hipster stuff and more on their new online marketplace, but of course we're most interested in the edible arts. We got ourselves a cute little sample box of Katja's Delicious Popcorn and a lovely dukkah set. A+ for presentation and we haven't even opened the box yet. Inside you'll find cards with information about the products and who created them with lots of that wood shaving stuff to protect the precious cargo. We certainly appreciate the attention to detail and it's all very Apple-esque, except this is all about hand made 'artisinal' goodness.

Online shopping for curated unique hand made goodies? You know you want to. Go on.
