Simplys: Vegetarian mecca

It’s 12:25pm on any given weekday and I’m fighting my way to the counter through a crowd of women. Clutching their oversized handbags with one arm and frantically salad selecting with the other, the healthy goodness is packed into clear containers to be shipped back to the office. It’s not often I find myself in Palmerston, but I was out that way doing some photography last night and decided to spend my hard earned dosh at K-Tong restaurant. Lunchtime at Tasty House

This lunchtime three of us (Laura, Tuan and Emma) all decided to go to Tasty House on Smith Street and sample the food. They offer a mini banquet at lunch if there’s three or more of you, and it costs $16.50 per person. For this you get to choose 5 dishes from the Yum Cha menu, and then one large main with rice to share.
